Operator Terms of Service
1. What this agreement is
This is the agreement between you — a dumpster rental business (an operator) and each person you let sign in on your behalf — and DumpLogic for the use of the DumpLogic platform: the booking site your customers use, the dashboard your staff use, the driver app, customer notifications, and the optional connections to third-party services described below. By signing in to DumpLogic or by letting anyone else sign in for your business, you agree to these terms and to the DumpLogic Privacy Policy.
Your customers' relationship with DumpLogic is separate and is governed by the Terms & Notifications Agreement; nothing here changes it.
2. Your account and your people
- Sign-in is by Google account only. You are responsible for who you grant admin or driver access to, for keeping that list current, and for everything done under those accounts.
- Admins can see and change every order, customer and setting for your business. Grant admin access to people you trust with your books.
- Tell us promptly at support@dumplogic.tech if an account is compromised or a person leaves.
3. The service
- DumpLogic lets your customers book and pay for rentals, lets you schedule and dispatch them, sends customers transactional notifications in DumpLogic's name, and keeps the order records.
- Payments settle to your own merchant account. DumpLogic never holds your customers' money. Card processing is by your payment processor under its terms; DumpLogic does not store card numbers.
- Prices, tax rates, service area, dumpster sizes and messaging settings are yours to configure. DumpLogic computes charges from what you configure; you remain responsible for what you charge and for your tax filings.
- We may change or improve the service over time. We will not remove a capability you rely on without notice.
4. Your data and your customers' data
- Orders, customers, prices and settings you enter are your business records. You grant DumpLogic the licence needed to store, process and display them to run the service and, where a customer has opted in, to send that customer notifications.
- DumpLogic does not sell your data or your customers' data, and does not use it to market to your customers.
- You are responsible for collecting your customers' information lawfully and for any consent you obtain from them beyond the notification opt-in DumpLogic manages.
- Consent you record. When you record a customer's consent to DumpLogic's texts yourself — by reading DumpLogic's script on a phone booking, or by attesting to a "yes" when importing customers — you are responsible for that consent having been given, will provide proof of it on request, and will indemnify DumpLogic against claims arising from texts sent on consent you recorded that the customer did not give.
- On termination we will, on request, provide an export of your records and then delete them, except where retention is required by law.
5. The QuickBooks Online connection
DumpLogic can send your completed, paid orders to your own QuickBooks Online company. This connection is optional and is made by you, from your dashboard, using Intuit's own sign-in and consent page. When you connect:
- What DumpLogic does in your QuickBooks. Creates customers, products/services, invoices and payments for orders that are completed and paid on or after the start date you choose; voids those documents if the order is later cancelled; and reads your company name, address and sales-tax settings to check the connection. It never sends an order twice, and it never touches anything it did not create.
- What it never does. It never emails your customers from QuickBooks, never deletes anything, never changes your tax settings or your chart of accounts, and never pulls changes made in QuickBooks back into DumpLogic.
- Tax. Invoices carry the sales tax DumpLogic charged the customer — the amount you configured — as an explicit override of QuickBooks' automated tax. DumpLogic does not compute jurisdiction-specific tax on your behalf; your bookkeeper remains responsible for filing.
- What is stored. The access credential Intuit issues for your company (encrypted with a key held in a managed key-management service and never shown to anyone), your QuickBooks company name and id, and, for each order sent, the QuickBooks document it became. DumpLogic does not store your QuickBooks user name or password.
- Who can connect. Only a QuickBooks company admin can approve the connection, and only a DumpLogic admin of your business can start it. Every connect and disconnect is logged with the admin's email.
- Disconnecting. You can disconnect at any time from your dashboard, or by removing DumpLogic under Apps in QuickBooks. Disconnecting revokes the credential at Intuit and deletes it from DumpLogic; nothing already in your QuickBooks is removed.
- Intuit. DumpLogic is not affiliated with Intuit. Your use of QuickBooks Online is under Intuit's own terms, and DumpLogic's use of the QuickBooks API is under Intuit's developer terms. QuickBooks and QuickBooks Online are trademarks of Intuit Inc.
6. Acceptable use
- Use the service only for your own dumpster rental business and only as the law allows.
- Do not send, or configure DumpLogic to send, messages your customers have not consented to.
- Do not probe, overload, reverse-engineer or resell the service, or use it to build a competing product.
7. Fees
Fees, if any, are set out in the order form or agreement under which your business was onboarded. Third-party charges — your payment processor, your carrier, Intuit — are between you and those providers.
8. Availability and support
DumpLogic is operated as an always-on service and we aim for 99.95% availability in any month. Planned maintenance is announced in advance where practical. Support is at support@dumplogic.tech; a failed QuickBooks send, a failed notification or a scheduling problem is retried and reported to your admins, never silently dropped.
9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is." To the fullest extent the law allows, DumpLogic disclaims implied warranties, is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and its total liability under this agreement is limited to the fees you paid DumpLogic in the twelve months before the claim. You are responsible for the rental service you provide to your customers, for the accuracy of what you configure, and for your own tax and legal compliance.
10. Termination
You may stop using the service at any time; disconnect QuickBooks first if you want the credential revoked immediately. We may suspend access for a breach of these terms or a security risk, with notice where practical. Sections 4, 9 and 12 survive termination.
11. Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be posted here with a new effective date and notified to your admins. Continued use after the effective date is acceptance.
12. Governing law
This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
