1. Who we are and what this covers
DumpLogic provides delivery and pickup notification services to consumers who book dumpster rentals through participating operators. When you book with an operator that uses DumpLogic, you may choose to have DumpLogic send you transactional text-message (SMS) and email updates about your rental. This Privacy Policy explains what data DumpLogic collects as your notification provider, how we use it, and the choices you have.
DumpLogic is the party that sends these notifications and is responsible for the data described here. The operator provides the underlying rental service and supplies the booking details that drive your notifications.
2. Information we collect
- Contact information — your name, mobile phone number, and email address.
- Booking/service details supplied by you or the operator — service address, rental size, dates, order identifier, and driver/ETA information used to compose your updates.
- Consent records — whether you opted in to SMS, the version of the disclosure you were shown, and the date, time, and surface of that consent.
- Message and delivery metadata — the messages we send you, delivery/failure receipts from our messaging provider, and any replies you send to our number (including STOP/HELP requests).
We do not collect payment card numbers through the notification service; payment is handled separately by the operator and its payment processor.
3. How we use your information
We use your information only to:
- send you transactional notifications about your rental;
- respond to your replies and route service questions appropriately;
- honor your opt-out and help requests (STOP/HELP);
- maintain consent and delivery records for legal and operational compliance; and
- secure, troubleshoot, and improve the reliability of the notification service.
We do not use your phone number or other information for marketing, and we do not send promotional messages through this service.
4. SMS / text messaging terms
- Consent is opt-in. We send automated texts only if you affirmatively opt in. Message frequency varies with your rental activity.
- Msg & data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
- Opt out any time by replying STOP to any message; you will receive one confirmation and then no further texts. Reply HELP for help. You can opt back in by replying START.
- Carrier disclaimer: mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
5. How we share information
We share information only as needed to operate the service, and never to sell it:
- The operator you booked with, to coordinate and fulfill your rental.
- Service providers that operate the platform on our behalf (for example, our SMS provider and hosting providers), bound to use the data only to provide those services.
- Legal/safety disclosures where required by law or to protect rights and safety.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share mobile/SMS opt-in data or phone numbers with third parties for their own marketing.
6. Data security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information. No system is perfectly secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live (for example, under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of certain processing. To make a request, contact us at support@dumplogic.tech. You can always opt out of texts by replying STOP.
8. Children
The service is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent). We do not knowingly collect information from children.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy; we will post the updated version with a new effective date and, where required, notify you.
