About DumpLogic
A tech company for the dumpster business.
DumpLogic is a Texas-based software company serving the dumpster rental industry. We don't own trucks or haul cans. We build the platform that helps rental operators take orders online through partner websites and run the logistics behind every rental — availability, scheduling, dispatch, status tracking, and automated customer notifications.
The dumpster rental business runs on timing. A bin promised but not delivered, a pickup that slips a day, a can double-booked across two jobs — each one costs an operator money and goodwill. Most operators manage all of it with spreadsheets, a wall calendar, and a lot of phone calls. DumpLogic exists to replace that with software that actually fits the way the work happens.
Our story
An engineer and an operator
DumpLogic began as a partnership between two people who saw the same problem from opposite ends — one who builds software for a living, and one who runs bins for a living.
Software & Engineering
David Hudlow
David is a software engineer who has spent his career building and scaling systems at companies including Raytheon, Amazon, and PayPal — work trusted by millions of users and held to a high bar for reliability. He brings that same engineering rigor to an industry that has long made do with spreadsheets and phone calls, and leads DumpLogic's product and technology.
Operations & Industry
Jacob Parker
Jacob is a dumpster rental operator and a RED-E-BINS franchise owner who runs the trucks, the bins, and the daily schedule himself. He knows firsthand where rental operations lose time and money — and what a tool has to do to be worth using in the cab and in the yard. He keeps DumpLogic grounded in how the business really works.
That pairing is the whole idea: deep software experience meeting hands-on industry know-how. Every feature in DumpLogic has to make sense to the engineer building it and the operator who'll use it before sunrise.
What we do
The platform, in short
- Online ordering — customers reserve and pay for bins through operators' partner sites, with orders flowing straight into DumpLogic.
- Availability & bin tracking — every can's status is tracked and its availability blocked for the rental window, so nothing gets double-booked.
- Scheduling & dispatch — drop-offs, pickups, and swap-outs are scheduled and assigned to drivers from one board.
- Status tracking — every rental is followed from order to completion.
- Automated notifications — customers get transactional text and email updates they opt into, and can stop any time.
More on the messaging program is in our Terms & Notifications Agreement and Privacy Policy.
